Ledgerly is a self-tracking budgeting tool. Nothing displayed in the app — including summaries, insights, charts, or the AI coach's responses — is financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. No advisor-client, fiduciary, or professional relationship is created between you and Ledgerly by using the Service. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making financial decisions.

• The AI coach is powered by a third-party large language model (via OpenRouter) and generates responses automatically. It can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, hallucinated, or misleading.
• The coach’s answers are only as accurate as the data you have entered into Ledgerly. Missing, incorrect, or incomplete transactions, accounts, or budgets will result in inaccurate or nonsensical answers.
• Charts and figures the coach generates are computed from your stored data, but you should independently verify every number before relying on it for any decision.
• The AI coach cannot learn or improve from your feedback within a single conversation; each response is independent.
• Do not use the coach as a substitute for professional financial planning, tax preparation, or legal counsel.
• Responses generated by the AI coach are subject to OpenRouter’s and the underlying model provider’s terms of service. Review their privacy policies.

The coach may propose specific changes to your budgets or pots. These proposals are informational suggestions only and are never applied automatically. A change is written to your account only after you explicitly click "Approve" on the proposal card shown in the chat. You are responsible for reviewing every proposal before approving it, and for the consequences of any approved change.

If you choose to connect a bank account, Ledgerly retrieves read-only balance and transaction data via Stripe Financial Connections or SimpleFIN. Ledgerly cannot and will not move, transfer, withdraw, or deposit real money. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your financial data and must independently verify balances and transactions before relying on them.

Any projections, savings estimates, or "on track" assessments shown in the app (including pot completion dates) are simple estimates based on your historical data and stated goals. They are not predictions or guarantees of future results.

Ledgerly uses third-party services (Stripe, SimpleFIN, OpenRouter, OCR.space) to provide certain features. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Ledgerly is not responsible for their data handling, security practices, or service availability. By using these features, you agree to comply with their terms.
